WHAT is Community Club?

Community Club is a program of Possibility Place. It is a social group created for adults with disabilities who want to get together and do fun things such as movie and popcorn nights, dances, board game nights, karaoke nights, community events, and more.

Community Club will host approximately 8 events per year, usually on Friday evenings from 6-8:30. This will likely increase as we grow.

The events will be run by Community Club Director, Reed Mitchell, and volunteers.


The cost for adults not enrolled in Possibility Place Pals is a flat rate of $125.00 annually. If an event includes a meal or special outing, that will be an additional cost. 

The cost for Possibility Place Pals is $80 annually ($10 per event.)  

However, if an event includes a meal or special outing, we will ask families to cover that cost.


WHO is eligible for Community Club?

Adults 18 and over who have a primary diagnosis of an intellectual or developmental disability and:

  • independent in self-care skills (toileting, eating, etc.)

  • mature enough to be able to interact appropriately with the other adults in the program as well as staff and volunteers.

  • have physical and cognitive needs that are manageable enough to not require one-on-one assistance

  • demonstrate socially appropriate behavior, not aggressive in any way, and not be a flight risk

Potential clubbers must fill out a membership application. After the "submit" button is clicked you will be redirected to PayPal to pay the annual fee.

Our January Event

This event will be held on Friday, January 15th, from 6-8:30pm at The Experience Community Church, 521 Old Salem Rd. 


Event Details

5:45 - 6:00 Check in

6:00 - 6:45 Dinner: *Nacho Bar, drinks, and dessert (We will have gluten-free and dairy-free selections for those with allergies.)

6:45 - 7:00 Bible lesson

7:00 - 7:45 Gingerbread Houses (we will have gluten-free items available for those with gluten allergy)

7:45 - 8:15 "Minute-To-Win-It" games

8:15 - 8:30 Check out


*We will be providing dinner for this event so if the participant would like to eat with us, please bring $3 and fill out the appropriate box on the registration form.

Event Registration is required no later than Tuesday, January 12th so we know how many to plan for. Please fill out the Event Registration form below for each event the clubber will be attending.

*Please remember that a Clubber application is required once annually before a clubber can attend events (form to the left.)

During this event we will be spacing out appropriately. We will require a temp check for everyone entering the event. Clubbers, staff, and volunteers will wear a mask at all times, unless they are eating.
